Earth Month Kicks Off at Hotel Felix with Green Deals and Activities

Hotel Felix, Chicago’s first Silver LEED certified hotel, invites travelers and Chicagoans to celebrate Earth Month with them.

During Earth Month, Hotel Felix Chicago (111 W. Huron Street) will give its guests and eco-friendly travelers discounts and incentives throughout April:

•Earth Day, Earth Stay Weekend: Starting at 12 p.m., April 6, the discounted Earth Day room rate of just $20.17 per night (exclusive of the Chicago hotel tax), will be available to people who will reserve a room for a 2-night stay on Earth Day weekend, April 22 and 23, 2017. Guests are encouraged to visit www.hotelfelixchicago.com and use promo code EARTH. The offer is available to the first 5 reservations.

•Green Groups Save Green: During Earth Month, eco-friendly group bookings will receive 22 percent off the best available rate if they show any proof of their environmental efforts, such as reducing waste ride-sharing services. •Earth Month Facebook Giveaway: If travelers are feeling extra lucky, they can enter Hotel Felix’ Facebook giveaway for a chance to win a 2-night stay at Hotel Felix and a $100 gift card to Troquet River North, the delectable French bistro adjacent to Hotel Felix’ lobby. To enter, answer the question pinned to Hotel Felix’ Facebook page any time from April 1-15, 2017 for a chance to win. Management will select a winner by Earth Day and friends are encouraged to be creative.

•Be Green and Tweet Green: Starting April 1, Hotel Felix will host a Twitter giveaway during Earth Month to encourage travelers to tweet their green tips. From ride-sharing to recycling, anyone who is passionate about the environment can tweet how they are being “green” for a chance to win a 2-night stay at Hotel Felix and a $100 gift card to Troquet River North. The person who tweets the most tips to @HotelFelix with #GreenFelix during April 2017 will win. Management will determine if there is a tie. The giveaway starts at 8 a.m. CT, April 1 and runs until April 30 at 5 p.m. CT. The winner will be announced by May 5, 2017.
