Hammacher Schlemmer 2017 Toy Collection

 Continuing its 169-year history of offering the Best, the Only and the Unexpected, Hammacher Schlemmer announces a wide assortment of toys that ensure unique entertainment for children of all ages.

One of this season’s newest riding toy is The Motorized Ride On Mario Kart that enables a child to reenact grand prix circuits through the Mushroom Kingdom. It’s modeled after Mario’s standard vehicle from Mario Kart, it features a dual exhaust, iconic “M” on the hood, and sound effects from the popular Nintendo franchise.

When winter’s chill compels indoor recreation, The Light Up Party Piano enables children to spend restless energy tapping out a melody. The 8′-long piano’s interactive keyboard spans two full octaves—enough room for a duet to simultaneously tickle the ivories—and each white and black key illuminates in a festive color when stepped on. Hammacher Schlemmer also offers The Shot In The Dark Basketball Hoop, a glow-in-the-dark basketball game that challenges at-home athletes with a hoop that moves side-to-side.

For kids that enjoy carving down slopes in style, Hammacher Schlemmer offers The Snowmobile Sled, a steel frame sled that handles like a snowmobile. The 41/4″-wide front ski and twin rear side skis enable schussing on soft powder or packed snow slopes and a metal snow-brake enables a rider to gently reduce speed.

Part of the company’s plush collection is The Personalized 6′ Teddy Bear. It wishes Merry Christmas or Happy Birthday on a personalized t-shirt that fits a name up to 12 characters.
