Merrell Introduces New Work and Tactical Footwear Line Launching Spring/Summer 2017
For years consumers have been asking Merrell to bring our proven outdoor performance footwear into the work / safety category. With this in mind, Merrell is excited to announce a new Work and Tactical collection launching in Spring/Summer 2017.
This new Work and Tactical line from Merrell is built on the brand’s established franchises, representing a range of shoes and boots that merges outdoor-ready performance with work-tested protection.
According to John Burch, Senior Vice President of Global Footwear, “Merrell is committed to providing consumers with the quality, comfort and durability for which the Merrell brand is known and merging that trail-ready approach to the outdoors with the safety that today’s American worker needs.”
To address the specific needs of the outdoor work consumer, Merrell performed in-depth consumer research and testing to develop the line. The result is a specialized range of men and women’s safety toe footwear ready to perform and protect in tough, outdoor environments.

In addition to key retailers in the US, the line will be available exclusively on merrell.com beginning March 15, 2017.
