Traeger Grills Announces 2017 Shop Class Tour Schedule
Fire up the grill and get ready for some serious smoke— Traeger BBQ Shop Class is back to help you be master of the grill this year.
Pitmasters are ready to hit the road, to teach Traeger users the essential BBQ skills and versatile recipes they need to master cooking on their grill. Each half-day BBQ workshop is specially designed to demonstrate how to harness the versatility of cooking over wood fire, at deeper levels, and connect grilling and BBQ enthusiasts to their craft.
BBQ is an art assembled from just a few key techniques that can be achieved by all. Suitable for everyone, from novice grillers to competition Pitmasters, all attendees will receive instruction on pro-style BBQ, backyard BBQ, tips and tricks for preparation, best practices, demonstrations, cooking tools, and secret ingredients.
Attendees will get the chance to experience Traeger’s innovative new Timberline Grill, equipped with best-in-class WiFIRE™ technology and intelligent design for the first time. The Timberline makes wood-fired cooking more customizable than ever before, giving everyone from backyard heroes to competition pitmasters the power to program their grill to remember and repeat cook cycles, all from the palm of their hand with access to the brand new Traeger App.
From prep to finish, guests will learn the ins-and-outs of the Timberline. Watch the pros craft the ultimate BBQ creations as they cook exclusively on the new Timberline grill throughout the class. Each class will feature fresh, clean, smoky recipes dedicated to the art and skill of the Timberline.
Available in two different class options, Competition BBQ or Backyard BBQ, attendees will also learn how to trim, rub, inject, and smoke authentic and delicious barbecue. Throughout the four hour session, attendees will get the chance to chow down on wood-fired creations cooked straight from the pros.
A BBQ manual filled with tips from Traeger’s best BBQ pros will be provided to help teach the basics of barbecue. Master the art of grilling the perfect steak; learn about hot smoking and barbecuing; brines, rubs, marinades and sauces; and information on the best equipment and accessories. A take-home workbook, complete with all the recipes and necessary tips to keep the grilling going even after the class concludes. Traeger will also supply a swag bag of grill goodies and an entry to win a Traeger Tailgater grill.
Beginning on March 31st and continuing into September, Traeger will take the Shop Class Tour to Minneapolis, Seattle, Sacramento, Toronto, and Ottawa, along with 18 other cities, leaving attendees across the country with a bold new perspective on the oldest, most universal method of cooking. Throughout the Shop Class Tour, Traeger is excited to partner with Snake River Farms, Jacobsen Salt Co.’s , Uinta Brewing, Yeti, and ThermoWorks.
