Tropicana Las Vegas To Host Gary Leffew’s Bucking Ball December 7-16, 2017

Calling ALL Cowboys and Cowgirls!  Local and tourist rodeo enthusiasts are invited to saddle up for Gary Leffew’s Bucking BallSM event at Tropicana Las Vegas this December.  In honor of the 2017 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (WNFR), this ten day event will boot scoot into the Trinidad Pavilion and feature a series of nightly activities – for the ultimate Western lifestyle rodeo affair.

“We are honored to be a part of Gary Leffew’s Bucking BallSM and contributing to a monumental experience from this legendary professional rodeo personality,” said Aaron Rosenthal, VP and General Manager for Tropicana Las Vegas.  “This is one of the many ways we are continuing to bring new and exciting experiences to Tropicana and more importantly to our guests.”

Gary Leffew’s Bucking BallSM will take place from December 7 through December 16, guests are invited to kick off the evening with a glimpse of the most prestigious rodeo event in the world with a special closed circuit viewing party, available nightly from 6:45 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., along with a WNFR-inspired pop up shop featuring cowboy inspired apparel and gifts for the rodeo enthusiast with hats, boots, belt buckles and accessories for purchase.

To adhere to the excitement of the rodeo, the true after-party event will kick off at 9:00 P.M. nightly and will feature live music from the legendary Texas Jamm Band featuring members of George Strait’s Ace in the Hole Band, as well as country recording artist, Scotty Alexander.  In addition, guests will also be able to enjoy a rodeo arena style dance floor, drink specials, giveaways featuring exclusive offers including one of a kind six-string acoustic guitar autographed by multiple country stars and much, much more.

Eight time NFR qualifier Gary Leffew is a well known member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and a Hall of Fame inductee who was the PRCA World Champion Bull Rider in 1970.  Gary is also an accomplished television actor and has appeared in episodes of Deadwood, among others.  His efforts in the industry continue with his professional bull riding school located in Santa Maria, CA, which has produced more PRCA, Professional Bull Riders (PBR), Canadian and National High School Rodeo Association (NHSRA) champions and finals qualifiers than any other bull riding school in the country.

Gary Leffew’s Bucking BallSM is a free event open to the public with doors opening at 6:00 p.m. nightly from December 7 to December 16, 2017.
