Anna-Rebekah Orr, site editor at Christian Universities Online, states that the goal of the ranking is to draw attention to the physical surroundings and aesthetic value of campuses– a feature that is sometimes downplayed in the college search process. “While not a primary criteria when selecting a school, campus beauty cannot be entirely ignored,” says Orr, adding, “The decision of where to pursue a degree includes the evaluation of many different criteria. Reputation of programs, graduation rate, total cost are factors that are always on the table, but it is not unwise for prospective students to take campus atmosphere into consideration.”
