Dell and Alienware – New Gaming Rigs & Monitors for Immersive Gameplay

Dell Gaming and Alienware unveiled new products across the two lines. The Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming Laptop, Inspiron Gaming Desktop with new Clear Panel with Polar Blue LED lighting, and Alienware 34 Curved Gaming Monitors are just some of the new products which demonstrate Dell’s leadership in PC gaming and its commitment to delivering the best gaming products for players at every level.

New Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming Laptop
The new Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming Laptop offers NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 discrete graphics and NVIDIA Max Q Design technology, 7th Gen Intel quad core CPU options and dual fans to keep the system cool and quiet while powering through challenging games.  Anti-glare IPS wide viewing angle FHD or 4K UHD display options provide excellent visual clarity while Waves MaxxAudio Pro software delivers precise audio. The laptop’s new 2×2 WiFi antenna design provides great wireless performance, while the SmartByte software prioritizes gaming and video content to keep games and videos smooth even during large file downloads.  A new quick-charge battery gets up to 80% capacity within an hour and the Thunderbolt 3 multi-use port connects multiple devices (including support for up to two 4K displays) to the laptop with transfers up to 40Gbps.* And for good measure there’s a fingerprint reader enabling Windows Hello for safe, easy login. Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming systems available at Best Buy and on Dell.com meet the minimum spec requirements for Windows Mixed Reality Ultra and is optimized to work with the new Dell Visor Windows Mixed Reality Headset. The Dell Visor, which is engineered for comfort, convenience and style, will be available in the U.S. in October for $349.99 (headset) and $99.99 (controllers) or $449.99 (headset and controllers kit) on Dell.com. The Dell Visor also will be available at Microsoft and select Best Buy stores and BestBuy.com in October.

Inspiron Gaming Desktop with New Clear Side Panel
The Inspiron Gaming Desktop, which debuted this past May, now offers a clear side panel option to showcase the system’s internal components bathed in Polar Blue LED lighting. The desktop features the latest AMD multicore Ryzen processors with SenseMI, Ready for VR configs with AMD or NVIDIA discrete graphics cards, support for dual graphics, Waves MaxxAudio Pro with Performance 7.1 Channel HD audio, high-capacity hard drives with SSD and dual-drive options, plus up to five bays for storage upgrades. In the US prices start at $599 without a clear panel and the clear panel version launches in September starting at $649. Ready for VR configs start at $999.

Alienware 34 Curved Gaming Monitors
Dell is offering two new Alienware 34-inch curved monitors with an iconic design built for performance gaming with a wider viewing area to see opponents coming from all sides and custom AlienFX lighting across four lighting zones in more than 150 PC game titles. Curved for greater game immersion, with ultrathin bezels, they deliver maximum field of view and sharper, clearer graphics. Both driven by NVIDIA G-SYNC, the Alienware 34 Curved Gaming Monitor (AW3418DW) supports WQHD (3440 x 1440) resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate, and the Alienware 34 Curved Gaming Monitor (AW3418HW) supports WFHD (2560 x 1080) resolution with a 160Hz refresh rate.  Both monitors feature a lightning-fast overclocked refresh rate, combined with 4ms response time, delivering ultra-smooth gameplay. Available Aug 30 in the US for AW3418DW starting at $1,499 and late fall for AW3418HW starting at $1,199.

Alienware Aurora with Radeon RX Vega 64 Graphics Card
PAX West also will be the first event in the US where gamers can come experience the buttery smooth experience and raw firepower of an Alienware Aurora equipped with AMD’s new flagship graphics card the Radeon RX Vega 64. Alienware is the first OEM to offer the new GPU from AMD’s Radeon division, building on its commitment to offer gamers options covering various price points, brands preferences and performance levels.

The Radeon RX Vega 64 graphics card boasts some beefy specs under the hood including 4096 stream processors, compared to their Radeon RX 580’s 2304 stream processors and up to 484 GB/s memory bandwidth, compared to 256 GB/s memory bandwidth on the 580 card. Available now starting at $1549.99.
