Guitarist Duane Betts Joins Jimmy Lumpkin & the Revival
Skate Mountain Records announces the newest additions to Jimmy Lumpkin & The Revival including guitarist Duane Betts. The announcement comes in time for Betts to perform with the band at the SouthSounds Music and Arts Festival in Mobile, AL on April 9th at the Soul Kitchen and at the Hangout Music Festival in Gulf Shores, AL May 19-21st.
Over the past 10 years, Duane Betts has amassed an impressive musical resume performing with numerous notable artists including Jack Johnson, G. Love, Kid Rock and Phil Lesh. Lending his guitar talent to Dawes, platinum rockers Puddle of Mudd, making headlines with California bad boys White Starr and touring the world with Dickey Betts & Great Southern prior to joining forces with Jimmy Lumpkin & The Revival.
The band has also added Scott Frock, Brad Walker and John Ramm to the Revival. Known collectively as the Crescent City Horn Stars and noted for their time touring as Sturgill Simpson’s Road Dog Horns, the trio completes the lineup alongside Jimmy Lumpkin on vocals, acoustic guitar and harmonica, Morris Barosa on rhythm guitar, Jacob Hall on keys, Chris Onza on drums and John Keuler on bass.
