Hortiflorexpo IPM Shanghai 2017 — A Stunning Flower Show
Spring is the most colorful season in China; it is also a great timing to appreciate various fresh flowers. This year in May, Hortiflorexpo IPM Shanghai is back again, carrying the most stunning fresh flowers, gardening tools/technology, seedlings, floral materials and other horticultural products from all over the world. This fair, launched by China’s Flower Association, is going to offer not only industrial trade opportunities, but also the latest trend of green life style.
Hortiflorexpo IPM is organized by the Chinese Flower Association (CFA), the only national flower association in China, and Shanghai Intex Exhibition Co Ltd, taking place alternately in Shanghai and Beijing in the spring of each year. It has grown to become the largest trade show in the floricultural, horticultural and gardening industry in Asia. In this spring, the 19th show is going to be held from 10th to 12th of May in Shanghai New International Exhibition Center, having more than 750 enterprises from more than 30 countries registered, as well as eight international pavilions from Germany, Netherlands, Thailand, Japan, France, Korea, Ecuador, Colombia and Taiwan province. The exhibitor list includes German Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection, KAMICO, Andreas Stihl Power Tools, Royal Flower Ecuador, Expoflores, Floragreen, Ludvig Svensson, Pro Ecuador, Klasmann, Kingenta, Japan Flowers and Plants Export Assocation, Delifor Beekenkamp, Exotic Plant, Sakata Japan, Chrysal, Anthura, Deroose, Greenman, Shanghai Seed Industry, MTD USA, EMAK, Zimex, Ginegar Plastics, Husqvarna Deutschland GmbH, Ball Century Horticultural, Snap-on, and etc.
In recent years, while Chinese government is still paying attention to the application of “green project”, people are more likely to approach to a local color of art and literature. Take the gardening industry for an example: it is no longer only the competition of techniques, but a skill of combining products and the art of culture. At this show, there will be various kinds of floral and gardening exhibiting, expressing the unique Chinese artistic lifestyle. Moreover, it is also the best stage for overseas companies to present their unique culture and products.
