Yosemite Pines Resort Adds Classic Airstream Trailer for a Nostalgic ‘Escapation’™

With the recent success of the classic and retro trailers available at Yosemite Pines Resort, the addition of a luxury 34′ Airstream trailer further expands this popular lodging option. The Airstream increases availability to serve a rapidly growing demand for this exciting type of “glamping” experience.

“The addition of the Airstream trailer to our resort increases our glamping buzz,” stated the Yosemite Pines Resort manager. “Many people are reserving these trailers because they are a fun way to stay so close to the National Park and enjoy a throwback lifestyle. We suggest reserving as early as possible for your preferred dates.”

The fully furnished and restored Airstream classic trailer can accommodate four people plus a small person, and is located just steps from the resort’s many onsite activities. The comfortable interior features a kitchen with range, retro-style Coffee Maker, microwave and refrigerator, bathroom with shower, all linens and a flat screen TV with Blue-ray player. Airstream trailers are known as some of the most sought-after trailers ever made, and were said to be “intended as a lifetime investment in happiness” by the maker.

Guests to Yosemite Pines can experience the fun of trailer camping, without any of the hassles that comes from towing a large trailer into the mountains and then backing it into a camp spot. Leave your trailer hitch at home because the classic and retro trailers at the resort are ready and waiting for you to just show up and have fun.

Yosemite Pines Resort is located just 22 miles from the western gate of Yosemite National Park and is a popular “home base” for experiencing area activities. Guests can explore all the wonder of the National Park, or enjoy hiking, biking, whitewater rafting, fishing, horseback riding, rock climbing, photography, and visits to the many nearby California Gold Country towns.

The Resort now features four restored classic trailers – the 34′ Airstream as well as a 34′ Silver Avion, a 31′ Silver Avion, and a 32′ Boles Aero and four brand new “retro” style trailers that sleep four guests, and range in length from 17′ to 24′. The Resort also provides lodging in various size Cabins and Yurts.

The swimming pool area at Yosemite Pines Resort is just one of the many on-site activities and amenities available to guests. Inside these trailers, it is easy to imagine an era decades ago, when families in their four-door Plymouth took great automobile vacations, towing their “aluminum house on wheels” along historic Route 66 and across America.
