Best Products of 2017 – Digital Trends

Digital Trends, the world’s largest independently owned technology review site, has unveiled its picks for the Best Products of 2017. After evaluating more than 600 products this year, editors selected top contenders across 10 categories: Cars, Computing, Emerging Tech, Entertainment, Gaming, Home Theater, Mobile, Outdoors, Photography, and Smart Home. Nintendo’s Switch, the much-coveted portable gaming device, earned top honors for the year.

“We’re looking for technological advancements that make modern life easier, less complicated, and more fun,” explained Jeremy Kaplan, Editor in Chief, DigitalTrends.com. Expert editors selected a winner in every category, along with two runners up. More than 30 full-time editorial staff convened to decide on an overall winner, which was sealed with a final vote.

“We are especially excited with the advances in new and emerging categories like Outdoor and Smart Home, where revolutions seem to be happening every month,” Kaplan said.
