Cost Plus World Market’s “Holiday Getaway” Sweepstakes

Cost Plus World Market is celebrating the upcoming holiday season with the launch of its “Holiday Getaway” Sweepstakes now through September 29, 2017. The specialty retailer has partnered with renowned German food company Bahlsen to send one lucky winner and their guest to an authentic German Christmas Market Festival this December 2017.

Customers can enter for a chance to win at www.worldmarketsweepstakes.com* and the grand prize includes airfare for two to Munich, Germany, hotel accommodations, city excursions, dining vouchers, and a $1000 World Market gift card. In addition, a $500 World Market gift card will be given to three first prize winners.

One of the oldest and most popular Christmas markets in Germany is the Munich Christkindlmarkt on Marienplatz, which takes place this year from November 27 through December 24, 2017. Dating back to the 14th century, locals and visitors to this market stroll through the many shops and stalls selling glass ornaments, Glühwein, ceramics, nativity scenes and culinary delicacies while enjoying a European tradition and holiday cheer.

Best known for their Leibniz-Keks or butter biscuit, several Bahlsen products from Germany are carried at World Market® year-round, but fans in the know shop the store for their holiday seasonal treats like the popular sugar glazed or dark chocolate-coated Lebkuchen Gingerbread. In addition to these treats, World Market will carry a large assortment of traditional imported food and beverages, including those from the U.K., Italy, Germany and Sweden.
