New Artist, Nick Brodeur Releases Debut Single, “UR DUMB”
Emerging pop-rock artist, Nick Brodeur released his debut single, “UR Dumb,” today on iTunes and all streaming platforms including Spotify and Apple Music, as well as Amazon and Google Play. The bright and fresh Summer song was written by Nick and co-produced by YNIQ of SoBe Entertainment and two-time Grammy Winner, Vinny Venditto (Eminem, Flo Rida, Rick Ross).
The young, yet talented musician, singer, and songwriter plays guitar and drums, and boasts a soulful voice with range that most adults are unable to capture. His inspiration and knowledge of great musicians past and present, including Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Guns N’ Roses, Nirvana, and Metallica have all shaped his rock sound, while Miles Davis, B. B. King, George Benson, and Prince have formed his soulful, funk side. Like all of his favorite guitarists, Nick’s tireless devotion to rock, pop and soul music, plus his boundless enthusiasm on stage, are both captivating and hypnotic.
Nick’s musical background stems from his Great Aunt “Jacky” (also known as Jackie Lee) who not only reached the UK Top Ten in 1968 with “White Horses,” but sang on Jimi Hendrix’s classic debut single, “Hey Joe.”
“UR Dumb” is the first single off Brodeur’s upcoming, untitled debut E.P. Nick continues to work on his craft by performing at several venues on both coasts including some of Los Angeles’ most iconic music venues like The Whisky a Go Go. Nick’s fusion of rock, pop, and soul has turned electric into eclectic and is sure to take this young artist to the top.
This summer Nick will be doing a number of performance dates and other promotional appearances.
