School bells will soon be ringing, signaling the start of a new school year and the second-busiest shopping season, according to the National Retail Federation. No matter what’s on their back to school shopping list, from lunchboxes and backpacks to tablets and computer accessories and dorm room must haves, shelves at Rite Aid’s more than 4,500 stores are stocked with everything students need to succeed in the upcoming school year.
Stock Up and Save on Back-to-School Basics
Stock up on back-to-school basics from trusted brands like Sharpie, Five-Star, Bic and Texas Instruments. Choose from an assortment of pens, pencils, crayons, highlighters, composition books, rulers, glue, tape and calculators. Rite Aid’s private brand, Home, offers multi-colored notebooks, index cards, erasers and more, many available for under $1. Shoppers will also find lunchboxes, sandwich and snack containers and backpacks featuring fresh designs.
A+ Electronics
Give your student an extra boost with electronics that make the grade, like an 8.95-inch Windows tablet or a 19-inch LED TV. New this year, mini-towers with Bluetooth technology and speakers from Magnavox. For printing needs, Rite Aid carries a Canon printer, copy paper and ink cartridges by HP, Epson and Canon. And help your student stay connected, whether they’re on the go or away at school, with Rite Aid’s selection of cell phone accessories including wall and car chargers as well as standard and wireless earbuds.
Dorm Room Must-Haves
Rite Aid has what college bound students need too, whether they’re a first-year freshman or a senior returning for the final year. Shop essentials like hangers, lamps and laundry baskets as well as storage crates and trunks, available in a variety of colors. Also available, appliances for easy college living including irons, coffee makers and toasters.
Gift Cards
Gift cards always earn high marks and with more than 200 to choose from, there’s a gift card for every student. Choose from favorites like Rite Aid, Visa or American Express; iTunes, Google, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts; or streaming TV gift cards such as Netflix or HBO Now. Or surprise college students with a meal at their favorite restaurant such as Applebee’s, Chipotle or Olive Garden and a trip to the movies or their favorite mall store. For students abroad, Rite Aid also has banking solution products, like Green Dot or Netspend cards, offering a secure, speedy and safe way to send students money.
Be sure to check the Rite Aid circular each week as select back-to-school products give shoppers the opportunity to earn Plenti points through Rite Aid’s wellness+ with Plenti program. Throughout August, members have the opportunities to spend $15 and get 500 Plenti points, which can be used for at least two years for savings at Rite Aid and certain Plenti partners.
