Naked Egg Taco Returns To Taco Bell
Taco Bell’s Naked Egg Taco is back and beginning March 8 you can snag two of the breakfast taco known for its fried-egg shell for just $3.49. Beloved breakfast flavors are packed into every bite of the reimagined breakfast taco, which is stuffed with a choice of bacon or sausage, seasoned potatoes, warm melty cheddar cheese and nacho cheese sauce.
aco Bell’s history of breakfast and shell innovation continues with the debut of the Naked Egg Taco, which first stole hearts when the only taco made completely out of breakfast debuted on menus nationwide last fall for $1.99 a la carte. The unmatched breakfast offering is also available “dressed” in a Gordita Flatbread for the more modest.
“Fans know us for shell innovations like the Doritos Locos Taco and the Naked Chicken Chalupa, and we’ve also experimented in the breakfast daypart with the release of the Waffle Taco and Biscuit Taco in the past,” said Liz Matthews, Chief Food Innovation Officer at Taco Bell Corp. “The return of the Naked Egg Taco at an exceptional value allows us to shake up the ordinary breakfast in a way only we can.”
Pushing the limits of breakfast shell innovation even further, Taco Bell is also testing the Breakfast Toasted Cheese Chalupa complete with a chalupa shell with crispy aged cheddar cheese, filled with eggs, a choice of bacon or sausage and drizzled with warm nacho cheese sauce. Available in Charleston, West Virginia and Huntington, West Virginia for $2.49 for a limited time, the same cheesy shell is also available beyond the breakfast daypart as the Toasted Cheese Chalupa with ground beef.
