BLACK+DECKER GoPak System
BLACK+DECKER™ announces the GoPak™ System, a line of tools powered by the new 12V MAX* GoPak™ battery. The GoPak™ System is available as a four-tool combo kit and includes a drill/driver, jigsaw, detail sander, LED work light, and GoPak™ battery. The GoPak™ battery doubles as a power source to charge mobile devices on-the-go via an integrated USB port.
The GoPak™ System four-tool combo kit is a starter kit of the most commonly needed tools, specifically made for DIYers. The four tools included in the GoPak™ System can tackle everything from household tasks to creative projects like pallet and refurbishing projects with features for convenience and ease-of-use. The drill/driver features an 11-position clutch to help prevent stripping of screws while the jigsaw’s blade can be changed without the need for another tool. The detail sander is compact enough to access hard-to-reach areas, and the LED work light has a pivot head to help illuminate dark work surfaces.
The slim, compact design of the GoPak™ battery makes it easy to handle and take on-the-go. The integrated USB port, with 2.4A output, quickly charges devices such as phones and tablets, allowing users to charge devices when there is no traditional power outlet in sight. This is especially helpful when traveling, running errands, or spending time outdoors. Rubber corner bumpers increase the battery’s durability and the onboard LED state-of-charge feature shows the percent of the battery’s remaining charge.
The GoPak™ System is available in October 2017 as a four-tool combo kit at $99 MSRP and includes the tools listed above along with the GoPak™ battery, a charging cable, drill bit, jigsaw blade, and three sheets of sanding paper.
